This is where the gap really opens. Messi has 414 career assists to Ronaldo’s 261. So when you add it together, total goal contributions, Messi leads 1,325 to 1,234, despite playing almost 170 fewer games.

The trophies:
Messi: 47 major trophies (13 league titles, 4 Champions Leagues, and the big one, the 2022 World Cup)
